We strive to offer exclusive benefits that are attractive and relevant for you.

Access to a global network

Once you become a member, you will be a part of the global network of amateur orchestras and musicians that WFAO has to offer. We connect people and you will get invited to workshops, festivals, conferences, and more during your membership. You are also more than welcome to use the board’s expertise and experience as a tool to develop your musical community.

Possibility to advertise and promote

We offer all our members to advertise and promote musical events and activities happening in your local community. We will be more than happy to publish on our website or our social media channels what’s happening around the world and assist you in spreading the word through our network.

Discounts at activities

At festivals, conferences, workshops, etc. where WFAO is one of the organizers, major partners, sponsors, or co-sponsors; we will offer special discounts off the ordinary participation fee.

We are always reviewing our benefits and we work even harder to get new ones. You will as a member of course get notified when there is something happening and we hope to offer more and better benefits in the future.

Membership fees

As a non-profit organization, we try to have the lowest possible membership fee. The fees is solely used to run the organization and work towards evolving WFAO and we hope that you as a member appreciate the value of the membership.

FAQs

Do I have any obligations as a member?

Absolutely not! WFAO is more than happy to have you as a member and we do encourage to take part of activities and share your experience, but it is not a must.

How do I know which membership category I belong to?

For current members, this should be known as it was stated when you applied to be a member. However contact us if you are unsure what category you are in.

For new members, we base the category on our guidelines and it categories can be divided into two main ones;
– Individual memberships
– Corporate memberships

Once you submit your application, we will contact you and find out together which category you belong to and thus which fee you should pay annually.

I am not sure if I can pay the membership fee.

The membership fee should not be ruining for you or your community. Since we are relatively dependent on an income to run this organization, we cannot have free memberships, however the key to success in communication. If you see that you cannot pay or it will be difficult, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can find a solution together. We really want to have and keep you as a member, so we will turn some stones to make that possible.

How can I be a part of developing WFAO?

First of all, start becoming a member. That is more than enough and we do not expect you to do more than you feel for. However if you see that you have the time and capacity, we would love to hear from you! We are always looking for volunteers and people to help the organization moving forward. So reach out to us, and we will start, hopefully, a very rewarding dialogue.
